Condor Single Rifle Case (Black, 42 x 12 x 3-Inch)

Okay, so ever since I received my custom built AR-15 from a dear friend police officer, I knew i had to find a form of protective case for it. At first, I asked my builder what he uses and he suggested “Voodoo Single Gun case” which is also offered on amazon at about $90-150 dollars.Since I’ve spent well over $2,000 on my AR build, I did not want to spend more than I have to on a case, but at the same time, I wanted all the bells and whistle. My search went from Voodoo, to Uncle Mike’s and so on, until I randomly (still can’t figure out how) stumble upon this condor case. After reading on the reviews and personal photos, I was amazed by the product (I will be posting some photos as well).The workmanship of this case rivals those that cost upward of $200 or more!! This case has protective padding in the main compartment that are surprisingly THICK! And yes, this is a full 360 degree padding!!!! The materials used are top notch and high quality, you can just feel it. The internal sidings on these cases are nylon and not vinyl which is an added plus because vinyl rips and deteriorate real quick! The moment you open the package, you know it was a well spent $70 hands down. This case has plenty of compartments and has MOLLE capable pouches (as seen in my photos). There’s plenty of secure latches that keeps your stuff from flying all over the place.Within the confine of the main compartment are two right triangle shape flaps. These are used to hold you rifle in place (muzzle and buttocks) as well as two available straps. The back of the case yields a strap that can be hoisted or removed.****NOTE: There are variations within the case your order from them. In the photos posted by others, they reported that they had cross-contact zippers for locking with a lock and metal hooks from the back straps (I think it was the OD one). I ordered the 42″ black and unfortunately did not have the cross-contact zipper and metal hook.******Nonetheless, this case is a keeper!! I thought about returning it (because of the cross-contact zipper) and reorder the OD version, but figured I’d be ordering another one from them eventually and get the OD that supposedly come with the cross zipper.Hopefully this review along with the picture persuade you into buying this case, because it is worth every cent!!

I bought this case for a Ruger AR556. It’s a good rifle case. Thick outer fabric with sturdy zippers. Inside are two separate compartments, one that has pockets at each end for the barrel and the other where the stock fits into with 2 wide Velcro straps that holds my M4 securely. With the stock of my rifle fully extended it fits very well in this case. I don’t have optics mounted so can’t give you any information about fit. The other compartment I use for accessories, cleaning kit, extra sling. The three MOLE exterior packs are nice, roomy and detachable. The outside two packs will hold 3 30 round mags while the center pack is larger. All close with wide Velcro strips. With my M4 and 8 full mags this case does get a bit heavy. The carrying hand strap is strong and secure. On the back of the case is a wide adjustable sling attached with D rings so this case can be carried over your shoulder.
