GL01G Green Laser Sight with Rechargeable Battery for Pistols Handguns

I compared this laser to a few of my other green lasers and found this one was noticeably brighter in daylight. I could see it on objects farther away and a brighter spot than others. At night it cast a strong beam as far as I could use it in the big wooded area behind my house.This unit is a compact, small size that has a nice feel to it. My only slight beef with it is its ambidextrous switch. It is a flat surface, making it a little hard to find when not looking and has just a slight extra pressure required to activate it both on and off. No big deal. I just need to get used to it.This uses a magnetic charging port, instead of USB-C like I think it should but it’s a strong connection and they even include a charger block with it along with the cord.The unit comes in an oversized plastic case with everything packed in foam padding.Great laser for the money.

Not a bad little green laser. Comes with a nice cushioned case, a long magnetic USB recharging cord and it also has a plug in adapter for the USB in case you don’t have USB port handy for recharging. The laser itself is fairly bright and I was able to pick it up against a tree about thirty yards away on an overcast afternoon, but for further out you’ll probably need to wait until the sun starts going down. Operation is straight forward, press either button on either side of the back of the laser to turn it on and either to turn it off. The only problem I had was trying to get it to attach properly on my Ruger Security 9 rail when using the aft holes on the laser rail attachment point. The front holes works perfectly, but it appears that the aft hole on the right side is slightly higher than than its reciprocal hole on the left side causing the entire site to sit kind of wonky, resulting in the laser being skewed a good bit. As I said, the front holes work fine for mounting it and seem to hold it secure, but if I had my preference I would use the aft holes as it is more centered on the body of the laser and in my mind would provide the most secure attachment point. All that being said, I still like this laser and will continue to use it on my primary edc until I find a laser/flashlight combo that I really like… and can afford. Overall I give it 4 stars.

It seemed at first this was not going to fit my picantinny rail and I was about to call this a cheaply-manufactured piece of junk, but once I realized you have to take the bolt completely out and remove the side locking plate before positioning the unit onto the rail, then hold in place on the rail whilst attaching the locking plate and threading the bolt through – it took a little finesse but that enabled me to get it into place and screw it tightly into position with no issues. The elevation and windage adjustments are as easy as it gets to dial it in, I have a red dot optic already mounted so it was easy to co-witness and zero in at my desired distance. The battery life is exactly as advertised, it appears this laser is pulsed very slightly – not noticeable for normal use, but if you deliberately shake it around to test, you get a dashed line as opposed to a continuous beam. I’m assuming this helps with battery life and maybe heat dissipation also. It comes in a large case given how small the unit is, but it also includes a USB charging adapter which is becoming uncommon these days. The dot itself measures right around 5mm at 30 feet which isn’t bad.
