Premium Synthetic Gun Care (7oz Spray Can)

I have been disappointed with every CLP product I have ever tried. I figured that a solution could either Clean, or it could Lube & Protect, but not both.I have been proven wrong. This stuff (the spray) is awesome. I applied this to a revolver that I would have sworn on my grandmother’s grave was already as clean as it could be. I have no idea where the carbon came from that this spray uncovered. I did this on a second clean revolver and had the same results.OK, so it cleans. What about lubrication?I ran 500 rounds through a semiautomatic that had nothing but a dry layer of Eezox. No oil. No grease. No kidding.OK, so it cleans and lubricates. What about protection?This is, admittedly, a bit harder to assess. Eezox has a faint aroma (not necessarily unpleasant), even after it is dry. It’s been over a month and the aroma is still on each handgun. I assume that this means the protective layer is still working. No signs of rust or corrosion, though one month is hardly an adequate test period.I’m sold. I have a half dozen other products that are taking up shelf space and are destined for the dumpster.P.S. I have not tested Eezox on copper fouling. Haven’t had that problem yet. But against lead and carbon this stuff can’t be beat!

Been using this stuff for years. The needle oiler and the small can are much easier to use than the spray. The spray tends to get everywhere and wastes the product. This stuff has an amazing ability to clean my weaponry and keep it protected. Works well on copper fouling but not as well on carbon buildup. I have to scrub a little more to get carbon off but not too much scrubbing. This stuff does have quite an odor but it works very well if applied correctly. Too much will create a gummy effect. I will be buying a quart or gallon can next time to refill my smaller can/needle oiler.
