RCBS X-Die Small Base Sizer, .223 Rem

I have been reloading for nearly forty years but this was my first round at auto-loading bottle neck as well as being used in multiple guns. The chambers were both Mil-Spec 556 and Wylde 223. WE were having issues getting both to feed if the case was fired in the opposing chamber. The small base die solved this issue. WE will start the second round of loads shortly so I can not comment on the “X” portion removing the need to trim but hopefully that works as well as others have reported.

Have used this die ro prep 1000 rounds of once fired 5.56 LC brass for my 223 Wylde chambered precision AR. It is a lot of work but only have to do the prep once then I use standard sizer for fire formed brass.Not a single problem with chamber stuck round since I started using.Words of advice use good lube.

these dies are great they work wonderfully,control case growth,and longevity I get about 3x the number of reloads out of my cases now.need I say more?
